First of all allow me wish everyone a very happy, healthy and successful 2010!
The dawn of this new year seemed like an appropriate date to launch my new website since it took me exactly one year, on and off, to complete it. So here she is!
As a webdesigner, building a personal website has to be both one of the most fun and frustrating tasks you can undertake, since you want the result to be as perfect as your current skill level will allow. In a way, you want it to reflect your style and personality, giving visitors an instant insight.
As opposed to previous versions where I aimed purely for visuals, this time I wanted something more. Spreading this over a year gave me enough time, between projects, to think about the overall theme, usability and performance.
Tested in Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorers 7 and 8. I'm guessing it's screwed in IE6, but hey.. can't please everyone. MS has held us back long enough.
There are still a few things that need my attention, but overall I like to think it's an improvement over the previous versions. I'd gladly hear your thoughts if certain areas, in your mind, could use adjusting.
